Background

ASEAN Cosmetic Directive (ACD) is an agreement among ASEAN countries to harmonize requirements of cosmetic products so as to reduce technical barriers to trade in the region. Since 2008 Thailand has harmonized the Cosmetics Act to align with the ACD. Nonetheless, there are some country specific regulations between Thailand and other ASEAN countries.

In this webinar, ChemLinked has invited Ratchanee and Sonatree, expert legal consultants from Tilleke & Gibbins practicing in cosmetics regulations, to decode Thailand’s Cosmetic Regulations. They will provide in-depth insights into cosmetic registration, labeling, claims, and ingredient compliance in Thailand, while also comparing these requirements with those outlined in the ASEAN Cosmetic Directive (ACD). Upon completing the webinar, attendees will have a clear understanding of how cosmetics are regulated in Thailand and will be able to comply with the Cosmetics Act of Thailand.
